Scottish Knick-knacks for the gullible Tourists? Oh, and it's not only the Tourists, by the way!

Tourists looking to buy souvenirs of their holiday in Edinburgh.

Of course, shopping for souvenirs is not peculiar to Edinburgh, go to any city anywhere in the world, and you will see the souvenir shops selling the same sort of articles.

Oh, it's just bit of harmless fun, buying something for the folks back home, isn't it?

On the other hand, it could be said to be a world wide nationalist mythology business?

If it is, why don't we, the common people, instead of subscribing to the nationalist mythology, aspire to become citizens of the world, or to put it another way,
we combine to organise for, and to establish a world wide social Commonwealth, in which the well being of everyone, without fear or favour, will be the only priority.

Whether or not you think that the souvenir sellers are in the mythology business, the social Commonwealth for the citizens of the world, is still a good idea.
